Feeling beautiful starts with feeling confident. We know unwanted hair can cause insecurities, frustrations and emotional stress. We are here to remove those feelings and help replace them with feelings of confidence.

Built on history and heart

Kathleen Escobio is the founder and lead aesthetician of Sleek Aesthetics. More importantly, she isn’t just another aesthetician with training in the field. She has a deep emotional connection and passion for what she does.

Kathleen’s childhood was overshadowed by self-conscious feelings of insecurity due to her dark body hair, from her Sicilian heritage. The key to boosting Kathleen's confidence and removing the insecurities of a 16 year old girl was her aunt. She offered to treat her to electrolysis, which gave her a new beginning.

In 2005 Kathleen made the move from upstate N.Y. to Tampa, FL. Kathleen worked at Shriners Children’s Hospital and was on an upward trajectory but, she never forgot the discomfort and feelings of inadequacy she’d once experienced before laser hair removal. Kathleen realized the importance of helping others to feel better about themselves, just as she’d done, years earlier.

The passion she has for helping others find the same confidence she once did through laser hair removal is why Sleek Aesthetics exists today.
